  7.     The Baby Boss was born in the U.S.A., all right. In Los
  8. Angeles, though, a continent away from his folks' native New
  9. Jersey. In a doorway to the garden of his Hollywood Hills home,
  10. BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, 40, and PATTI SCIALFA, 37, were proud as any
  11. first-time parents as they posed with their four-day-old son
  12. EVAN JAMES. These days the offspring of older rock stars are
  13. making their name in music. It'll be a while before young
  14. Springsteen can pull on jeans, knot a red bandanna around his
  15. head and grab a guitar. Until then, there's always Papa Boss.
